Driving the Dixie Tour

June 17, 2017, 2-8pm

Nostalgia buffs will again converge in Chicago’s south suburbs to take part in the Drivin' the Dixie Car Tour. This event, set for the 3rd Saturday of June each year, aims to raise awareness of the historic importance of Dixie Highway as well as the towns and villages that emerged along its path.

On Saturday, June 17th, Momence will once again host the final destination for the Driving the Dixie Tour. The event will again be held at the Momence Park District's Island Park, and will include the Park District's season premier of Music in the Park. Our own Mick Porter and Mary Cantwell will perform from 6-8pm. In addition, the Downtown Business Alliance will be holding a Vendor Fair downtown on East Washington Street, and Community Garage Sales will be happening all over town.

This year's event will certainly have fun activities for all!
