Bill O'Connor, President
Bill O'Connor Bill has been a resident of Momence since 2007, after moving from Alsip IL, a suburb of Chicago. After High School, Bill completed the Chicago union carpenters apprenticeship, where he learned his flooring trade. He also has completed many other certifications in the flooring trade. After moving to Momence, he started his business in his garage. With 20 years of experience, he now owns a flooring store in town on East Washington Street, where he sells materials and installation services. Bill is excited to join Main Street Momence, and is looking forward to working with MSM, the community, and the businesses to help with events and the preservation of the City.

Joanna Herbert - Secretary
Joanna Herbert Joanna Herbert is the Senior Vice President of Great Lakes Regional Center, LLC. Joanna has extensive experience forming new ventures in both the U.S. and Europe as well as experience in operations, project management, and process and technology integration. Her experience includes service as director of process design and infrastructure for a $2B provider of post-secondary education with 75 campuses worldwide; project manager for Thomson Reuters Quantitative Analytics division; senior consultant for RSM McGladrey's National Corporate Recovery division; and director of Europlus TV in Rome, Italy.

Rick Seemann, Treasurer
Rick SeemannLong time Momence resident Rick Seemann, 54, holds an Associates Degree in Business Marketing from Kankakee Community College. Mr Seemann enjoys crafts, fishing, antiquing and volunteering in support of his community. Currently, he works part time at Agape Community Outreach Mission in Kankakee working with people in need of emergency services dealing with homelessness. Currently serving as the MSM Treasurer, Rick previously served on the Board as Secretary. He also has served as co-chairman of the Downtown Business Alliance working in partnership with Main Street Momence to improve and support the Momence business community. He has also had past experience as a board member of the Momence Chamber of Commerce and the Kankakee County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Mr Seemann was a local business owner for 2 years also, and he enjoys both Momence Community Auction and Miracle on Washington Christmas Gathering His favorite quote is: “A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” -Unknown

Fran LeBeau, Past President

Fran LeBeauFran is a lifelong resident of Momence, and is married to Hernan Maldonado. She is retired from AT&T and has a Master's in Business Administration from Governors State University. She has been with the program from the beginning, and is one of the original Board directors and Design Committee members. Main Street has allowed her to meet so many great people, and to learn about preservation, historical significance in buildings, and their design. Fran's favorite quote: "Always look for the positive."

Kendra Sandstrom
Kendra Sandstrom Kendra Sandstrom has been a resident of Momence since 2005. She is married to Matt Sandstrom and is the mother of four children. She has her degree in Social Sciences from Governors State University and is finishing up her Master's in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. As a new board member, she is looking forward to helping the community preserve its rich and vibrant history while at the same time welcome future growth.

Marilou Martin
Marilou Martin Marilou has called Momence her home since she moved here in the mid 70's. She graduated from University of Illinois and received a Masters Degree in Environmental Science from Governors State University. She worked for the Forest Preserve District of Will County and then joined the US EPA as a Program Manager for Special Projects. Projects included innovation with states and industry, community-based environmental and public health projects, and urban redevelopment initiatives. She recently retired and looks forward to being more involved in Momence.

Pamela Tate-Delk
Pamela Tate-Delk Pamela was born and raised in Calumet Park, IL. Pamela is married to Harold Delk and currently resides in Matteson, IL. She is the mother of Jacob and Keyanna Tate. Currently the Assistant Branch Center Manager for Midland States Bank in Momence and Manteno, Pamela has well over 20 years of experience working in the financial industry. Some of her career background includes working at the Federal Reserve Bank, State Bank of Countryside and Fifth Third Bank. She is a member of Saint John Baptist Church located in Chicago, IL. Pamela enjoys shopping, she loves to sing and listen to country and gospel music. Pamela really enjoys spending quality time with her family. As a new Board Member, she is looking forward to servicing the Momence community and supporting Main Street Momence.

Scott Snavely (Ex-Officio)
Market President - Midland States Bank

Scott Snavely Scott was born and raised in Kankakee County. As a Bank Executive, he previously lived in Bloomington, IL, New Albany, IN and Carbondale, IL. Scott is married to Lori and resides in Bourbonnais, IL. Scott has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Illinois. He is working towards his MBA. Scott enjoys all types of music, writing and auto racing. He has worked as a Technical Inspector for the Indy Car series and has driven race cars around Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway. Scott looks forward to serving the Momence community with his active involvement in Main Street Momence. His favorite quote: "Those who are the happiest are those who do the most for others."

Cruise Nights

Washington Street Downtown once again came alive with antique and unique "Cool Cars under the Stars" throughout the summer. The public came out to browse, listen to the music, eat some great food, and take a chance on the split the pot drawings held at each event.

Christmas Gathering

This annual Holiday event features the downtown brimming with Holiday Cheer - with special guest Santa and his reindeer, camel rides, horse-drawn sleigh rides, craft shows, and lots more activities for young and old alike. Beautifully decorated store windows in the theme "Christmas Blessings" and the community Christmas Tree warmly welcome visitors to this Momence Holiday Tradition.
